Jack Frohbieter Joins Sky Station As Chairman & CEO

WASHINGTON, D.C., -- September 9, 1998 - Sky Station International, Inc. announced yesterday that satellite industry leader, Jack Frohbieter, joined the Company as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

"Jack is well-known in the U.S. satellite business and is ideally suited to take Sky Station forward," said General Alexander M. Haig, Jr., Co-Founder and Chairman of Sky Station's International Advisory Board. "We are honored to have Jack's leadership for the Sky Station project."

Mr. Frohbieter has been President of his aerospace consulting company, JAF Associates, since 1996. He previously served as Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Orbital Sciences Corp Space and Electronics Group and as a Member of the OSC Board. Other positions have included President, COO and Member of the Board of Fairchild Space and Defense Corp, Vice President and General Manager of the GE Government Electronic Systems Division and Vice President and General Manager of the RCA Astro Space Division. Mr. Frohbieter earned his BSEE at the University of Evansville, and is a graduate of the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program. He received the RCA Engineering Excellence Award, the University of Evansville Outstanding Alumni Award and was inducted into the USSF Space Technology Hall of Fame for his work on the NASA Acts Program.

Sky Station is developing technology that represents the most significant innovation since the satellite. With Sky Station's unique Stratospheric Telecommunications Service (STS), a system of lighter-than-air platforms will be maintained in geostationary positions over metropolitan areas using advanced proprietary technologies. Sky Station will offer service in 2001.
