JACK FROHBIETER JOINS SKY STATION
AS EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT SYSTEM INTEGRATION Washington, D.C., February 27, 1997: Sky Station International announced today that aerospace industry veteran Jack Frohbieter has joined the broadband stratospheric transmission companys senior executive staff. Mr. Frohbieter will be responsible for all system integration activities, including the management of corporate partners supplying key technologies. "We are extremely proud to have Jack Frohbieter in charge of system integration," said Gen. Alexander M. Haig, Co-Founder and Chairman of Sky Stations International Advisory Board. "He has managed the production of as many satellites as any man alive thats the experience we wanted for managing the implementation of the Sky Station system." The Sky Station system is a worldwide broadband Internet transmission system that uses stratospheric platforms instead of satellite relays. Consumers and businesses will be able to access the Internet at multimegabit per second channel speeds via business card size antennas affixed to their homes and offices. Widespread commercial operations of the system will commence in the year 2000.
