Launching of the Platform  |

Sky Station International

The Sky Station platforms are
launched without harm to the environment. First, the platform is rolled out from the
hanger. Using remote control from the master control station, the platform is guided on an
ascent path to the stratosphere. Satellite positioning systems (GPS) are utilized to
precisely locate the platform in the desired geostationary position. The platform then
remains in that position for up to 10 years.
