AGIS & SKYCACHE PLACE FAITH IN HOMETOWN HOCKEY TEAMS

Internet Firms Reach Gentleman's Agreement for High-tech Services Based Upon Results of the Stanley Cup Finals

Dearborn, MI, NANOG, June 9, 1998 - AGIS and SkyCache, Inc. today announced that they have reached a gentleman's agreement for high-tech services based upon the outcome of the Stanley Cup finals to commence June 9, 1998 in Detroit, MI.

Phillip J. Lawlor, President and CEO of Dearborn, MI based AGIS, issued the challenge at a business luncheon during the annual meeting of the North American Network Operator's Group (NANOG) hosted in Detroit, MI. Witnesses to the scene reported that Mr. Lawlor took offense to remarks made by Doug Humphrey, President, CEO, and founder of Laurel, Maryland-based SkyCache, Inc. Commenting on their bizarre habit of throwing raw octopus onto the ice, Mr. Humphrey called the Detroit Red Wings' fans "dysfunctional sushi lovers."

During the conversation Doug Humphrey stated, "We are confident that the Capitals will bring home the Stanley Cup to Washington. I am looking forward to my free year of dedicated AGIS Internet Service. If head coach Ron Wilson needs another reason to psyche up the Caps, this is definitely up his alley. I can see him in the locker room yelling 'Do it for the hometown geeks, boys!'" In addition to one free year of AGIS high-speed, dedicated Internet service, AGIS would also have to send twenty AGIS coffee mugs and T-shirts to SkyCache, if the Washington Capitals win the Stanley Cup.

Should the Detroit Red Wings repeat as Stanley Cup Champions, SkyCache would have to supply one year of complimentary high-speed, satellite data delivery service to AGIS at their Dearborn, MI facility, along with 20 SkyCache T-shirts and mugs. Phil Lawlor stated that, "Most Washingtonians don't even know they have a hockey team! Say the word powerplay and they think of Bill Clinton and Newt GingrichDetroiters associate the term powerplay with names like Sergei Fedorov and Vyacheslav Kozlov-now Washington has another reason to fear the Russians. However, this cold war will be won on the ice in 'Hockeytown' not the Pentagon."
